Alex brings Virtual and
Live events
to life

For some reason virtual events have suddenly become popular, but they can feel a bit flat.  Alex’s extensive TV experience, enthusiasm and humour means he can inject them with freshness and spontaneity.

He's a likeable host and facilitator for live events too, as well as a dab hand at auctions.

Here are some examples....

Host of Live Virtual event,
An Evening With Harry Metcalfe - star of
'Harry's Garage'.

Alex hosted this live Zoom event for a specially selected group of Footman James customers, interviewing Harry Metcalfe about his videos, epic car adventures and views on a host of topics, before chairing an audience Q&A.

A good time was had by all.

'The Best of Liverpool Charity Ball'

This is a picture of Alex (on the right) hosting a big charity event in Liverpool.  He had fun with the audience, made sure everything happened on time, kept up the excitement during the virtual auction, and bantered with live auctioneer Danny Sebastian and special guest Johnnie Vegas (on the left).

Host, compere, interviewer
CarFest South 2018

Alex's ability to chat to people from all walks of life, his spontaneity and humour all shone through at CarFest South.  He spent the event filming pieces for broadcast on big screens around the site.

He compered the world record attempts and live 'happenings' on the main stage; interviewed Adrian Newey about the Aston Martin Valkyrie; hosted Q&A sessions with Mahindra Racing and Horrible Histories illustrator Martin Brown; and reported on the many fun attractions and activities going on around the site.

He also went backstage to chat to some of the big music acts including Michael Ball and Alfie Boe (see link below); Beverly Knight and Miles Kane.
